Modeling Available | Indicates the presence of deterministic modeling information provided by the client or derived from work contracted out to industry experts. |
Quake SEL | The earthquake Scenario Expected Loss (SEL) used to understand expected loss estimates for a 475-year return period earthquake. |
Quake SUL | The earthquake Scenario Upper Loss (SUL) used to understand expected loss estimates for a 475-year return period earthquake. |
Fire EML | Fire Estimated Maximum Loss (EML): The largest loss reasonably expected to arise from a single fire event. May be less than the market or replacement value of the property. |
Fire PML | Fire Probable Maximum Loss (PML): The maximum percentage of risk that could be subject to a fire loss at a given point in time, used by underwriters to estimate the highest maximum claim likely to be filed. |
