AALs

To access AALs, go to SOV manager > Spotlight.

Ground-up AALs are calculated based on the latest SOV on the platform, taken directly from Verisk AIR modeling. We run the AAL modeling results after data transformation and standardization in the app, meaning that any information provided, enriched, or transformed via engineering rules and mappings is included as part of the AAL calculation.

The loss ratios are then calculated using the AAL value divided by the TIV of the SOV view to derive a percentage of the loss ratio.
